Glucose Detection Using a Disposable Nanosensor Team May1721

Diabetes has been a rapidly growing problem worldwide, in order to minimize the negative effects of the disease, it is critical to monitor and control blood glucose levels at the individual level. This project is to use a disposable nanosensor to detect glucose level rapidly. Under supervising by Dr. Long Que and his PhD student, the students will develop an assay for the detection using the nanosensors developed in Dr.Que's lab.

  • Develop a disposable nanosensor which can detect glucose with good efficiency.

  • Design and fabricate the nanosensor which allows continuous monitoring of glucose level.

  • Determine the detection upper limit and lower limit of the nanosensor.

  • Determine the response time of the nanosensor.
